Atom User Reviews for The Long Walk
I was on an emotional roller coaster!!! When i watch a movie I don’t want to just watch it, I want to take it in, I want to have an experience, I want it to change me in some way. I want to feel happy, sad, inspired…. This was beautiful and profound in the most bittersweet way.
I paid 5 dollars to watch this and I want my money back
horrible
Forest gump meets hunger games
Intense, heartbreaking, and at times hard to watch. It’s well done but not for the faint of heart.
Not My cup of tea …..
There was no plot line, was predictable, no storyline, I call it boring, didn’t like it, not even a ok
This movie left me with emotions in the world we currently live in, a commentary about our country.
Worst movie i have ever seen- not even a movie, just a talk
Absolutely terrible movie
Brutal killings. Not for the kids. Thought provoking.
Didn't end the way I expected.
The movie felt refreshing. So many genres just seem to repeat or worn out. This movie was original it didnt go in depth with the plot, but it was good enough to enjoy and be surprised by.
They changed a lot in the movie compared to the book. If you read the book be warned it’s not like how you imagined they would make it.
Man this movie smacked it had my chest pounding.. though yes the book is better but just having a visual of what the book was telling us was just great!! Heartbreaking yet its amazing to see… gonna see it again
Bro that movie was really deep and has a message that everyone needs to hear. Very graphic but something that w all needed to be reminded of.
This was a good movie for once they kept it really true to the book u don’t see that often anymore I liked it
#Trash
Bad, very bad movie. Not worth watching.
It’s an absolutely amazing movie. Expect to cry because WOW
Hunger Games better
Frustrating. Stupid plot
It got me to shed a tear. Haven't cried for a movie in forever. A really good movie.
Stupid ending, too much vulgarity. WASTE!!
This is a waste of time and money. And it ended only as I would have had it too. It's not even worth it for free. Thumbs completely 👇
It was just mid for me
I love the movie. HATE the ending changes they made! Should have left like the book
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I say it made me think of squid games and it was just weird and kind of pointless
great movie
as long as you can see the light at the end of the dark tunnel, you can keep walking. my friend
It was disgusting and a waste of time.
Cheap casting
Not one of King's better works. The storyline could have offered more than just a painstakingly endless walk with sprinkles of kill scenes. This movie may have made a better book than going to the big screen.
Bad ending
fire alarms don't finish the movie money back please with excuses and one free ticket for any movie for costumer
I enjoyed this movie so much creative different inspiring great cast.
The best movie I have ever watched.
Way more intense than I was expecting, it’s good
awful movie
It’s a heart compelling and jaw dropping story with a lot of sad scenes. This movie made me feel like I was walking with them. You will get attached to t
Don't waste your money!
I was on pins and needles the whole time!
This movie was great and I recommend!
I genuinely enjoyed the movie. Now I have to read the book. # Thank you Stephen king
don’t watch if ur not trying to cry
Was really good - I recommend
Some scenes they talked too much but it was good
Couldn't take my eyes off the screen! Not your typical dystopian movie! What would your body go through if you were in a walk or you die race and would you be able to handle it when your body starts rebelling? Not for faint hearted!
emotional ride
Metacritic
Despite the stamping of hundreds of feet, The Long Walk smolders with the blunt power of a burned flag.
Allegories are unavoidable. The walk is American capitalism. The walk is life itself. It requires, however, no such connections to enjoy the best King adaptations in many years.
No one should mistake The Long Walk for fun. But there’s satisfaction in its endurance, in the way grim inevitability drives the narrative with allegorical force. By the credits, you’ll feel as though you’ve marched every mile alongside the boys exhausted, shaken, and strangely, perhaps, wanting more.
