I like the part when Timon said the bug tasted like chicken. Haha how would he know? The rest of the movie was pretty good too.
RalphA near-perfect work of art that can never be replicated. Let's hope nobody is stupid enough to try.
James (Schaffrillas)Apr 24, 2016can you believe that billy shakespeare was SO moved and inspired by The Lion King that he wrote Hamlet like..... same

Biggest observation that came from this rewatch is that Timon would be a really good Tumblr Sexyman
James (Schaffrillas)Sep 1, 2017scar going to all that trouble to become king and then lying around utterly neglecting to rule his kingdom is such a mood

I’m a 100% serious when I say that this is in my top 5 movies. The music?!? Man, don’t even get me started. Hans Zimmer created magic with this soundtrack. Especially during the scene where Simba runs from the stampede. Disney planned just that scene for 1 year, and it shows <3
absolute most favorite movie as a kid :( i still love it so much. everything about it is perfect and the soundtrack is amazing. scar is my fav villain too

My FAVORITE MOVIE as a child.. I watched this 24/7.. I recommend it to parents for their kids.. it’s a classic
9.1/10 Up there with some of my favorite movies ever. Rewatching this makes me appreciate it so much more. The music, the writing, the story, the characters are all top tier. Scar is an amazing cowardly villain. I felt like I just watched it for the first time again, so good

The Lion King, complete with jaunty songs by Elton John and Tim Rice, is undeniably and fully worthy of its glorious Disney heritage. It is a gorgeous triumph -- one lion in which the studio can take justified pride.
