Synopsis
In this big-screen NINJAGO adventure, the battle for NINJAGO City calls to action young Master Builder Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret ninja warriors. Led by Master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon, The Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad. Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their inner power of Spinjitzu.

Alex Ruppert dislikedThe Lego Ninjago MovieNo, just no. This was bad. I get what they were trying to do for but it didn’t work for me. It also didn’t help that it had no connections to the original Lego movie. The humor is also pretty dry. I honestly would just recommend you skip this one.

Fun, but the humor in this one was much less witty. Repetitive annoying jokes are always the first sign a good thing doesnt have anyone with any more ideas in the department. I grew up with the show too, and none of the characters seemed to act like them. The message was messy.

Haley Mastronardi is "meh" onThe Lego Ninjago MovieThe jokes were pretty good, Garmadon was hilarious (“How can I ruin your life? I wasn’t even there.”), but the story itself was pretty dry. Garmadon becomes good and then the villain is a cat? I’m not sure how accurate it is to the show. Outside of the jokes, there was no story.

The majority of fans came from that show and they just ignored the established story. Speaking of, this movie ruined the show going forward, but I can’t hold that against this movie I guess

By the final fight scene my 6 year old was bored. It was slow and predictable, but somewhat entertaining. I was glad I saw it at the last-run theater.
