Synopsis

A physicist, his wife and two mediums are hired to investigate the Belasco House, where 27 guests had inexplicably died in 1927, along with most of a team of paranormal investigators that was sent in the early 1950s.

    read the book recently so figured I'd check out the movie. TOTAL delight. British people will haunt a house for eternity rather than go to therapy etc

    The Legend of Hell House

    Watch this with The Haunting from 1963. this is a little more melodrama but it's wonderfully shot, the close-ups are so claustrophobic and Roddie McDowell is always lovely anytime he's on camera. I can't stress this enough, Roddy McDowell doesn't get the street cred he deserves.

    This was such a great watch!! Kept me hooked the entire time. I always love older movies, there’s so much more plot and detail than in modern movies. It’s one of those movies I’ll be watching again!! 8/10
