Not sure why this got so much hate but I believe it was a serviceable crime movie.
I liked this movie because of the entertainment value. For this flick, one might say, "Only in the movies," simply because there were some elements about it that made it totally unrealistic! However, I think that when movies are like that sometimes (for example, this one), it makes it more exciting and/or captivating, versus becoming flat out stupida! I can genuinely say that I really liked the cast as well, because the acting was very good.
Was just ok. Had higher hopes because of the cast. But it held my attention
I actually enjoyed the movie. I could have done without the girls going crazy and turning on each other but otherwise it was great
we really enjoyed this movie. it was awesome
Power to the women of all colors!
Thought it would be funnier, but it was still a great movie.
Fabulous setting.

Really like it! Nice cast!
it was just alright.
I enjoyed this movie
Screen playing was horrible
Longest but BEST hour and 43 minutes ever 💙
Maybe it needed a bit more development at the end. But the 3 leading ladies did a fantastic job and the movie is interesting
Good action, motivating movie
Hands down a great movie
GREAT!
Enjoy
There was no plot, great acting but no storyline
Melissa and Tiffany killed it no comedy needed.
Great to see Melissa McCarthy and Tiffany Haddish doing a movie together. They can both do drama as well as comedy.
Surprising fulfilling...
Yo mama!
Horrible movie
Melissa &Tiffany are great together on the Big Screen
Metacritic
While the film boasts a refreshing premise — mob wives taking over their husbands’ territory when the men land themselves in jail — what lingers afterwards is the stale taste of its lukewarm execution.
The gender politics are as appealing as the rock-solid trio of lead actors (Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss), even when the movie itself proves less than persuasive.
When featherweight Domhnall Gleeson, as an intense angel of death, is your feminist Irish mob movie’s most interesting asset, you need to find Hollywood’s witness-protection program immediately.
