Kennie lovedThe Hungerjust a couple of lezzies committing to eternal life after one full conversation. true to form. oh, to be in your thirties and already feel decrepit. like life has quickly outpaced you while the art of consumption is being festooned around the neck under the guise of eternal life

wow. this has the perfect dark, ancient, sexy, haunting and bloody vampire film that i’ve been wanting (aside from nosferatu which was perfect). i really enjoyed everything about it! the visuals were gorgeous & truly pointed out the fear of death and everlasting life.

The obsessive conjunction of lesbian sex and flowing blood suggests a deep-seated misogyny, but neither this nor any other theme is registered with enough clarity to offend.

The Hunger is an agonizingly bad vampire movie, circling around an exquisitely effective sex scene.
