I actually really dig this movie. I love the cast, the goofy haunted house vibe, and especially the sets. An odd cast (complete with Geoffrey Rush donning his best Vincent Price mustache) and some great knb fx are highlight despite some weirdo cgi choices. Super fun! I…

ali larter puts like ten bullets in a guy and taye diggs just walks up to her and says “it’s all cool babygirl” as he escorts her away and I’m kind of obsessed with it

Omg I can smell blockbuster watching this. Back in the day at slumber parties we'd roam the aisles and pick out a movie with the scariest cover, or a movie preview we'd seen on tv. This was one of em. Nostalgia alert! Do any of you guys remember the MTV show Fear? Idk why…

it’s goofy and rarely scary but there’s something oddly charming about it.

Absolutely obsessed with Chris Kattan's performance in this. And I'm not afraid to admit it.

they really tricked me into thinking this was gonna be like a cool death game or like… fun ghost shenanigans or SOMETHING but it was just stupid it had some cool concepts but they didn’t follow through with them and it was executed pretty poorly, i was struggling to stay awake

Geoffrey Rush does not fit in this random combination of terrible actors. Not sure what he saw in this script that intrigued him but this was genuinely boring😴😴

I didn’t hate this movie but I didn’t like it enough to watch it again. I really like how much Geoffrey Rush looked like Vincent Price from the original movie.

The effects are so awful 🤣 BUT the cast is strong, legitimately creepy setting, funny, entertaining. It's become a favourite with a certain type of charm.

This movie is so atrocious I can't help but love it, it's borderline best of the worst material. Possibly one of the worst remakes in existence

Contains too little of the original's campy spirit and too many whistles, bells, explosions and screams.
