That Go Pro footage is the hardest I've ever been taken out of a film.

just a bunch of men running around if you really think about it. pure vibes
shayDec 11, 2013Like with the first film, I am more than willing to step over creative liberties and narrative flaws because Jackson once again allowed me to spend time in Middle Earth. If you didn't care for the first one, don't torture yourself and stay home. You won't like it. If you…

Imagine fellowship of the ring ends… Frodo looks over at Sam and smiles as they look ahead preparing for their long arduous journey and then BAM- I’m in love with the shape of you🎵
🌻 lindsay 🌻Jan 1, 2014I'm glad that the middle section of a nine hour adaption of a 300 page children's book found time to shoe-horn in a love triangle between a dwarf whose name you don't remember, a She-Elf whose name you don't remember, and Orlando Bloom.

Just a cash grab for you to see the finale of this trilogy. They didn’t even kill Smaug in this and put it in the first 15 minutes of the next. Jesus, this trilogy is just an entire cash grab to market off the success of LoTR. Again, boring, and i was just disappointed by the end
This is my favourite of the Hobbit films and absolutely deserves that title. The colour grading, the environment, the acting, the clothes, the prosthetics. It really made the world spring to life. I love every scene with Smaug and the hype up to him was absolutely earned.

Film ist zu Ende und ich möchte direkt den nächsten Film anschauen! Mega Film, ich liebe die Umsetzung des Drachen Smaug ☺️
Although it felt like less happened in this film it felt very mission-driven and like the purpose was stronger as you willed the characters on. The Elves gracefulness shone through and the filming was exceptional especially the forest scenes making you feel like you were there.

This is a good film I didn’t really see as much bad as I thought it would, I really liked this final act as it showed the suspense and fear the dwarves were feeling as they were fighting for revenge, but I do appreciate what this film is meant to be and that is a bridge film
It's always the middle movies of the trilogy, they're just so good, I loved this, genuinely, just seeing Legolas again brought such a big smile to my face; and as my favorite character they did him so much justice, and of course he was SUPER bad*ss in this movie, true elf🥲

But, oh, that dragon. I'd endure another slog through Middle-Earth just to spend more time with Smaug.
Second verse, same as the first, a little bit shorter and a little less worse.
There are things to like about the second Hobbit film - the director's vision of Middle Earth is as beguiling as ever - but the bloating that was a problem with An Unexpected Journey is an even bigger issue here.
