Synopsis

Ronnie runs a Disco walking tour with his son, Brayden. When a sexy woman takes the tour, it begins a competition between father and son for her love. It also signals the arrival of an oily strangler who stalks the streets at night.

    Grotesque and not in a fun campy way. Bizarre yet original the story lacks cohesiveness and feels like it was strung together as shooting progressed. Disturbing for all the wrong reasons and just nasty at other times. A subversive film for sure but not for me.

It’s not an attractive comparison, but The Greasy Strangler in some ways recalls The Human Centipede III, in that it raises questions about a filmmaker’s relationship with the viewer. This is a far better and less offensive film than Tom Six’s, but it also comes custom-built to discomfit the majority of its audience.
