Mad Max: Fury Railroad
Georgia ColeyApr 30, 2014I'm not sure why people scoff at old movies. They are still new to those who have not seen them.
Julien FaddoulDec 11, 2021I’m having one helluva time watching confederate propaganda dressed as slapstick. Cinema is dangerous.

Imagine escaping death this many times in one film.... The devil works hard, but Buster Keaton works harder.
sarahNov 7, 2023Not sure if I was more shocked by the incredible stunt work or finding out this was Confederate propaganda.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you slap a stick.
luviJul 29, 2017so crazy that people have been trying to make an action movie better than this for almost a hundred years and haven't even come close
sydneyNov 19, 2020Noooo, Buster Keaton, don’t romanticize the Confederates, you’re so funny aha. Despite that glaring flaw, The General is most definitely my favorite of the three Buster Keaton films I’ve seen thus far. As opposed to his other works I’ve seen, and, truthfully, silent films…

My first silent film (and Buster Keaton film). As a fast reader, the pace of the text blurbs could be obnoxious at times. But the movie was charming, enjoyable, and well-done. Lots of creativity and talent on display here.
We’re it not for the lost causey-ness, this movie would be practically perfect. The stunts are breathtaking as they were a century ago and the gags are still drop dead hilarious. It’s just a shame how this film glorifies the confederacy. 7/10

Arguably the greatest silent movie ever made. The laughs come hard and fast, and the stunts (especially for the 1920s) are amazing. This movie proves that Buster Keaton was a full-fledged genius.
i was a little hesitant at first since i didnt know what to expect, but this was very fun to watch. it reminded me a little of tom and jerry lol

10/10 for me. Personally love it. Every re-watch i lough the same and just can't remember anything bad about it.
It’s a good one, isn’t as funny as his other works but I like the plot of this one the best
