Literal art. I can't even comprehend what I just watched. Someone said in an article, "it's like walking in an art gallery" and that perfectly explains it. Every frame in this belongs in a museum, and nothing anyone could ever say will change my mind. Beautifully captured-

Is strange I’m gonna see it again and if you ask me to describe scenes in detail I can’t. I just know I felt good watching it from beginning to end. If you like Wes then watch it. You’ll like it

So what does the film, playing in theaters, want to make millions of moviegoers feel? Delight in graphic design? Sure, but the filmmaker’s familiar motifs, playful and inventive as they may be, operate in an emotional void.
