SpindlyMan is "meh" onThe FlintstonesIt’s wacky. It’s cheesy. It’s corny. The set design budget must have been 90% of the total budget for this film. It’s excellent! As far as it honoring the OG Flintstones, it does okay. Nothing to write home about. A decent watch but I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it.

Some of the best set design I’ve ever seen but other aspects of the film were sacrificed for that clearly. Good casting also but the cinematography is pretty weak along with the plot. I did watch the cartoon quite a bit when I was younger and it’s not the truest to it.

The quality of the writing is more than a notch below that of our show. Most of the jokes aren't as witty, and the laughs come less frequently. Maybe it's because so many of the things they do in the movie are lifted directly from the show, but a lot of stuff seems stale.
