Atom User Reviews for The First Purge

Save your money. Very predictable. Nothing original at all. Coming from a moviegoer.

After reading many reviews, I believe those who were offended by the movie have a guilty conscience. Let’s be honest, if this were to happen... this is exactly what would happen. Pay attention outside your comfort zone and you’ll see the reality in which we live in.

Great flick, dealing with current and recurring issues in our country.

Lil truth to this I think... be prepared for trump to create a real purge

Didn’t live up the hype. Started too slow. Not captivating.

Great Movie but why come in black areas to kill us off.. Makes you think

honestly very boring, save your money!

Dont like how the persuade black people to be. We nothing like this movie .

I seen it tonight and I say it's must see and I would see it again

Ok movie but really predictable. No surprise.

Compared to the first one this one is terrible and incredibly divisive.

I believe that it’s a movie to really pay attention to in every aspect.

TRASH

Exceptional Purge film. Awesome action and compelling ideas. Worth checking out.

A movie where the drug dealers are the heroes because they are killing white people that want to kill black and lower income latin people. Very bad subliminal message.

First two are better !

one time watch.predictable ending.

That junk was crazy, wakanda forever

Not that great, a lot of racism

🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Message beyond the war is powerful if you pay attention #StayWokeBruh

Should have went to see equalizer 2 or even the incredibles 2 . Not worth seeing in the movies or even on tv. Wish I can get a refund.

Pretty lame , predictable story... disapppiintef

Nothing like the previous Purge movies. Story line is completely different. This purge is all political and racial plot lines. Hardly a horror movie at all

Seen all the purges in theatres it's a tradition

this movie went on the topic of racial tension in the U.S, how divided our supposed melting pot country is in reality. Somewhat predictable but still heart felt and real! Loved it !!

We enjoyed the movie. It so closely resembled the society we live in today and it's sad. It makes a good point in the typical "purge" fashion. Now we know how it all started.

The movie gave us a look at how if the purge was an actual event how people would react colorful and intense even though the story did drag on in the begging of the movie

The movie was very realistic with the current events happening today. I recommend everyone to go see it and peep the message it’s saying.

definitely not a bad movie...

out of all the purge movies this was my least favorite but still a good movie

its just perfect! i love this movie

great movie when the action started to happen it became very intense

I thought it would be better then the other movies but it was worst. thanks to explain how the purge started but I thought it would be more intense

Very boring. Not what I expected from the movie. I recommend you to save your money and use it for another movie! 👎🏻👎🏼👎🏽👎🏾👎🏿

Staten island

I'm a huge fan of the Purge series and I knew this one wouldn't disappoint! The cast was great and the concept for this film was based on how the purge was originally created. The film just like the others kept me on the edge of my seat!

Plot was predictable, but I like how they tied in to current political issues.

Great movie love it

Too much going on

The movie overall kept me interested. One can tell that this film was made during the early portion of the current administration’s transition; as there are a few elements pulled from it. Lots of action, suspense and build up. However, the acting is at times unrealistic.

Great movie

This one was my favorite our of all of them. I liked to see how it all started. I left emotional. Mostly feeling anger. Only those who truly "understand" will get it.

This movie is not subtle and commits it's fair share of movie sins, but if you're going to see The Purge you already know that. If you like the other Purge movies you'll like this one too, it's probably the best of the franchise.

This illuminati/global elite agenda.

Actors were great but story was not sorry guys just ok wait till it comes out

Not really a horror movie and the last one was better, but still enjoyable.

Slow but build up & ending was insane!

Go see it!

Awesome!!!!
