starting to realize that my favorite genre might actually be shitty 90’s teen movies... and i’m not hiding it anymore!
LucyFeb 13, 2018ok...but clea duvall’s character was 100% a lesbian and I won’t stand for this erasure
eelyJun 29, 2019just wanna play spin the bottle with this cast

The conceit of high schoolers having to snort drugs to prove their innocence is so beautiful. I wish I had come up with that.
Branson ReeseJan 22, 2019Yes it’s Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets Scream... but I love it.
Arlo McLeanJan 22, 2023Josh Hartnetts hair in this is like a friar tuck pterodactyl, I cant explain it. But it's hot and nobody even questions it. Gawd I miss the 90s.

This was alright. It wasn’t what I expected and I just didn’t like it very much. I liked the end, when it showed us one month later. I didn’t like most of the characters. This looked really good at the beginning but just didn’t do anything for me. What was Usher doing there?
So gloriously 90s in every way. The star power is shocking in retrospect. The rewatchability hovers somewhere around the 100% mark, plus a soundtrack that still gets heavy rotation to this day. A top body-snatcher subgenre flick.

A 90s high school Robert Rodriguez directed sequel in the thing universe. Immaculate cast!
Once again, Kevin Williamson absolutely DEVOURS the horror genre lmao. This was so much damn fun and the action sequences, acting, effects, everything was on par with what I’d expect from him. Some parts actually scared me and I love (at least the quality of-) all the characters.

good music, good pace, realistically written characters although there are some in storyline inconsistencies. the very very end sucks though, way too forced of a happy ending. not every character needs to be coupled up.
Very, very silly but a lot of fun. Frodo Baggins versus the T-1000 is a thing I never knew I needed. Goofy effects but they fit the campy tone, one of Robert Rodriguez’s better films

Results may not be Nobel Prize material, but they're zesty and cogent.
It looks like Williamson threw five old scripts in the air and Rodriguez shot the first 90 pages he picked up. I'd like a little more meat on my burger because all I can taste is the cheese.
