God I'm so mad I never thought of teen Spielberg's trick where he rigs a wooden board on a lever to simulate dirt explosions when he's shooting his war movie but then I also have to remember that he's Steven Spielberg and I am a dumb idiot

goes above and beyond what you normally expect from a movie about movies. cheesy and over-sentimental at times but i wouldn’t want it any other way. if this is spielberg’s last i cannot think of a better shot to end on. one of the best of the year, easily. and this is all…

This movie was RAW…PURE EMOTION, INCREDIBLE ACTING, and a powerful, real, relatable, gut and heart wrenching story. Almost made me cry multiple times, a truly moving story about the realities, ups and downs of life. Makes you really ponder about life, and what you are doing!
This was a great film. The acting was brilliant! I PERSONALLY did not like it. It felt longer than it was(and it’s already a long movie) and I truly wanted to watch a movie about filmmaking which unfortunately was overshadowed by the amount of family time. Decide for yourself

i thought the first act was like comically boring but it ended up settling into something unexpected and almost weird… ended up liking it in a surprising way
The most charming film of 2022. I appreciated the honest and whole depiction of a struggling artist while also equally showing just how much sacrifice and dedication it takes to perfect your craft. A beautiful ode to filmmaking and it’s importance from the eyes of its lover.

A movie for movie lovers.
CMcesar magdalenoI know it's by Steven Spielberg, wasn't aware of the premise but I'm guessing it's loosely based on his life (I'm not too familiar with cinema before the 80s) but was rather slow and almost awkwardly pointless with the movie heading in like 5 diff directions but ultimately…
