I really like Russel Crow as an actor so I was really excited to see him in this and I think he did a decent job, but the movie just didn’t keep me engaged very well. The plot was loose, the scares were ok but I didn’t think they were special. Nothing really memorable tbh.

MLMel LanderIt neded more jump scares, and the ending didn’t make sense and left me with too many questions. Over all it was decent and Russell Crowe should keep playing a pope 😂

[Miller] is a far better director than he is a writer though, and the film is crisply, thoughtfully made, at the least looking like it belongs on the big screen.

The film is so humourless that it becomes tiresome. That might be forgivable if the movie managed to be scary, but not even one or two jump scares are enough to get your heart rate up.
