I've never seen Robert Wise's fifties original and that may be why this film didn't anger me as much as it seemed to enrage everyone else. I've seen countless poor reviews for this one, but they do seem overly-harsh as this is hardly a half-star movie in my humble opinion.…

I always defend keanu reeves' movies and I'll keep doing that until the day I die but this just has so much lost potential. it wasn't super bad but the script is TERRIBLE, so so badly written.

Young Keanu does a great job at portraying a mysterious stoic character without being annoying. The storyline is unique and well paced without long lulls or any rushing. It’s a breath of fresh air in todays cinema.
