5/10 I really wanted to love it since it's one of my favorite series but they didn't do things right. It lasts more than two hours and the main case feels very rushed and nothing else is explained well. It has some good scares and shots but I feel like the Warrens' plot drags on
BORING! WHY did it take so long to go to the house! nothing happened till they got there, made the ending rushed and anticlimactic! NOT scary at all! cringey script! MANY PLOT HOLES!! +the guy sat next to me in odeon sounded like he was making out with his chicken wings NOT fun x

I liked the movie, there were a lot of moments where I almost screamed. however they took on the case too late into the movie that it didn't do it justice and felt rushed. The case needed to have more serious consequences and more creepiness to it.
GREAT jump scares!! Gave me opportunities to sneakily hide behind my crush 😍

Really wish they focused more on the actual haunting. By the time they took the case the movie was almost over. I wasn’t expecting this to be great but I’m a little disappointed with how rushed it felt.
“the one thing that’s always the same..is fear.” favorite horror universe. I don’t recommend watching the trailer unless you wanna know where all the jump scares are, but regardless of that I enjoyed this a lot. glad we got to see the warren’s one last time, love their chemistry

Shi was ahh
I enjoyed it and I'm going to miss the conjuring universe. Vera and Patrick did so well and Mia played really well as grown up Judy. Some moments in the movie were really creepy and unsettling and I loved it. Other parts I got emotional a little or felt warm and fuzzy seeing the Warrens family build up. What I didn't really like was I felt some pieces of the movie replicated parts of the 2nd and 3rd film in style and scene that I wish they just went in a different, newer direction than recreating them to put the movie together. I also felt the ending being a bit rushed when it should've progressed into being more longer and intense.
Metacritic
It’s rare for a final film in a horror franchise to deliver character development, a chilling story, and a satisfying ending for the characters. The Conjuring: Last Rites does all three. As a farewell to the Warrens, Chaves balances the terrifying with the heartfelt to great effect.
A fun blend of scares and sentiment, this largely justifies a lengthy run time with effective frights and a valedictory feel. Just don’t watch it before trying to clear out the attic.
It all feels old hat by now, with returning director Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, The Nun II) failing to bring much freshness or vitality to the proceedings.
