This movie is aggressively stupid and corny, and I loved every minute of it.

How come adults in these types of Christmas movies don’t believe in Father Christmas and yet just accept that presents appear under their tree every year?

I’d believe in Santa again, if it was Kurt Russel.

Santa said that The Dark Ages are the result of him not being able to deliver Christmas gifts throughout those years, so I say we put him on trial for the war criminal he truly is.

Dumb and charming. Kurt Russell is spectacular in a silly, slapstick story about the “magic” of Christmas. Campy, comfy, and convenient.

    The Christmas Chronicles

This was an extraordinarily cheesy movie, but I found myself charmed by the end of it. Kate was endearingly stupid. If Kevin McCalister can booby trap his home at 8 years old, then she could have avoided the dumb decisions she made at 10. Plus Kurt Russell was weirdly hot as SC

This movie was really fun and unique!! I would label it as a one of its kind XMAS traditional movie (like Polar Express and Elf). It was also cool that I watched this during XMAS. Surprisingly a sad and fulfilling movie. Also…hear me out on Santa…

An instant holiday classic. Kurt Russell may be the perfect Santa Clause, and the story packs a hard punch to the heart. You may actually shed a tear when you’re not just absolutely loving the adventure. Brilliant Christmas tale!

The whole thing is out-and-out tinsel-dunked tat, but oddly honourable with it – the Christmas spirit might be just a few steps up from bathtub grade, but it still packs a kick.

With its saccharine score, saturated cinematography, and trite platitudes, the film is formulaic and forgettable except for Russell’s performance as the lovable legend.
