Atom User Reviews for The Chosen: Season 4 Episodes 4-6
This is TRULY a very intense season on the Chosen. Not easy to watch, but enlightening on the whole.
Excellently written, directed & acted. Witnessing the very plausible emotions of the Disciples & followers behind the Scripture is hard…watching Jesus’ heart breaking is heart-wrenchingly convicting.
The best show to portray the lives of Jesus's disciples I've ever seen! So proud of this show!
Amazing show! It’s like watching the Bible in color! Each story leaves an impact and hits deep. This is a must see!!
Love it ❤️
Consistently amazing
I started watching The Chosen series at the beginning of the pandemic when they did the week-long showing of Season One and I was hooked. The visuals and acting are getting better and better, with one exception in S4E1 but I'll leave that alone. Overall nail-biting, sad, a little predictable if you know The Gospels but well-done bringing the recounting of the healed servant together from Luke and Matthew (an Officer or a Centurion ). I lobe the theatrical releases but I'll watch them when they're available on live-stream.
The realness of the story of Jesus and the accuracy of Judaism of the time is what I find outstanding.
This world looses all appeal in light of knowing Him
Love The Chosen.
Worth the wait!
Loved it
Intermission Needs to be sooner and a bit longer than 5 minutes for over 3hours of sitting in cramped up theater seats.
These three continue to become more and more intense as folks deal with grief, and Jesus deals with frustrations even with His disciples.
Jesus is right, they just don't get it because they are not ready
The beginning of episode 4 had me all.misty before they even got to the starting music... Great season so far!!!
I love this series but my heart aches to know where it leads.
Absolutely a great portrayal of the life and time of Jesus and his disciples. I'm thankful I am able to see it in the theater. Kleenex are a must.
Excellent
The Chosen is BEST at recalling the life of Jesus, and his disciples. It Brings the Bible to life makes you understand that all people in Bible were real people
Will watch it over and over and over again. Can’t wait for next
outstanding performance
This is an excellent portrayal of grief and trying to wrestle with teachings that you don't understand. Very relatable emotions being experienced, and my heart certainly aches with Christ knowing what is ahead and how hard he seems to know it will be for his disciples.
Very moving to see Jesus not being understood by his disciples. Bringing the gospels to life!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
While the dialogue in the temple between two main characters was slow, noticeably slow the episodes were awesome. I realize now, that deadness of the scene was a masterpiece, religion is dead without Christ. amen! 🙌
Absolutely so true to the reenactment according to the life of Jesus. I will watch till the end. Thank you for this story of our Messiah!
must watch for those Christians and those who love the bible. really brings the stories of the events and the disciples to live in never seen before way. very poweful
From the beginning of the show to the end I was totally consumed and captivated! There was not one moment during the three episodes that you were not overwhelmed with the content!
Excellent as always!
Another very well done series.... Love the chosen!
loved it loved it had me on the edge of my seat
A fantastic start off to another great season. Definitely thought provoking!
There has been controversy surrounding The Chosen and its accuracy and use of artistic license. The best way to sort it out is to read the Holy Bible to separate fact from fiction; and reading the Bible and studying God’s word is always good for the souls and bringing us closer to God, that’s more than any movie can do.
Outstanding!
It was extremely well made & believable !!! The Chosen series is a great tool to strengthen one’s Christian faith. It is AMAZING to see important Bible moments unfold before your eyes !!! ❤️
Love all 3 episodes!!
Episodes 4-6 of season 4 were engaging at every turn of the narrative. I would love seeing these 3 episodes again! The awareness, pain and empathy displayed by actor Jonathan Roumie playing the role of Jesus were absolutely gripping. He knows what is to come for himself and the disciples. So to see these scenes from the context of their time 30 A.D. makes you wonder how the Jesus movement could have even survived …. Only could have if Jesus was truly who he claimed to be. He was and still is the Son of God!
Its like you just don't want to get up and leave the theater, you wait for more. This is by far the best show ever made on Jesus's life. It draws you in and then you look at your grandchildren and how their so into it; it holds their interest. I absolutely love, love, love it.
The setup of the story is episodes 4-6 is incredible. I know whats gonna happen and yet I have no idea how!
Loved it!
Just when I think there is NO WAY this show can surprise me or get better, it DOES JUST THAT!!! WOW!!!
Rollercoaster ride of emotions.
I love seeing the chosen at the movie theatre! But I also love binging at home. I watch it over and over!
the Chosen is the Best Movie there will ever be!!!! I Love that the Chosen has brought the Life Of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Crist to light on the big screen and a congratulations to Dalles Jenkins for doing SO!!!
The story continues and it is not getting easier…but we know that from reading the book
The Chosen on Holy Week… Awesome!
awesome
Must see!
It never ceases to amaze me!! Incredible acting & directing!!
Knowing where the story is heading makes the feelings that much more intense. I think of the internal struggle of Jesus in the garden before his arrest, but surely he was feeling that for a time leading up to the events of the crucifixion. Jonathan Roumie portrays it so movingly throughout season 4. Come and see!
