For a movie that’s 90 percent two guys sitting at a table talking, this is pretty good. The dialogue is sharp, giving both Reagan and Gorbachev depth and humanity, and making their negotiations compelling and tense. Jeff Daniels makes for a pretty good Reagan, nailing the…

If it wasn't for Cabrini, this would be my new favorite Angel Studios film. (Gotta give it the win over other recent historical drama, Pressure as well. And I really liked Pressure.) Incredibly compelling, absolutely riveting history lesson. Filmed on location in the same…

TheHenryManCanAug 17, 2026This is so boring. There’s really bad green screen usage at one point that looks awful. But most importantly, the script to this is awful and feels like it was written by MAGAs. The film relied on its conversation and the conversation that happens here is not engaging at…

watched the first few minutes of it and then left unfortunately (it was mystery movie monday) and my partner and i preferred to go to staples lol but im never going out of my way to watch it so this is my review for it lol😭
A film caught in its own history with no greater addition to stakes or interesting stories to tell. Performances feel more like impersonations than re-enactments. Clichés are piled upon each other for easy and obvious markers of success than actual gray area and subtlety.
