My dad showed me this when I was a kid and when it gets to the part where they show the woman with her eyes pecked out he went “whoops,” looked over at me and saw that I’d already seen it, and then went “oh well.”

Hmmm 🐦⬛🐓🦜🦆 the audio, the green screen, the sound effects, the main character’s personally, and just the birds in general - before it’s time and the blueprint for most cinema today (us) 🦅🦃🦤

As a person who suffers from ornithophobia, this film shocked me. After watching The Birds, audiences will never look at birds in the same way ever again, which is perhaps Hitchcock's original intent.
