The movie had such promise in its premise. However, it never took the necessary steps to be as ambitious as the premise would promise in the trailers. Jon Bernthal and Lawrence Fishburne's talents were completely wasted. The biggest let down was the anticlimactic ending. Rami Malek was believable and interesting, but the story didn't give him enough to work with.

It was absolutely Good!! I am going to see it again with my daughter. Rami Malik is a real good actor and I like watching him in movies. Prince and Little Princess

Great movie I loved it

There is no swearing in this movie :)

The trailers made it seem like a scrawny tech nerd breaks when his wife gets killed and goes on a ruthless rampage against those who took her from him. But it's not, there's slight hints of it but it's very mild. The action is fine and the ways he gets things done is clever and delivers well but I wish there was more depth to the lead and a deeper, more broad and detailed to the underlying plot of the CIA's dirty work that he'd have to seek vengeance for

Boring overall with some action moments

Needed more action & they wasted Berthals character. Literally wasted.

Thought it was going to be more action-packed, but it was slow and a letdown, especially the end

It was fairly entertaining, but I wasn’t a fan of the casting and it just felt like it was a bit too long with some plot holes and not much backstory on the characters.

Confusing

This movie is drama-suspense, not action. There are some action scenes, and this movie does a pretty good job at capturing the mental turmoil (loss) the main actor is in. Good acting, nice visuals, would recommend overall.

Movie is solid overall, while rami was strong in the role there was a lot of wasted talent in fishburne and berenthal that definitely could’ve been better utilized. the plot was great but without a strong antagonist or even supporting cast it felt like a set up for something more that never came through

Had to give it 5 stars! Was a great movie that kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting more. Could easily be a part 2.

Great movie… can’t wait for #2 now. Oh yes, it’s prime for a sequel.

While the film’s execution seems expert on the surface, the internal narrative design is unfortunately ham-handed and woefully dull.
