I waist my time and $14.
Awful, I seen made for TV movies better than this Horrible on all points from the acting to the plot just awful
It started out slow. A lot of clipping around. But, the message was a far cry better theatrics. Everyone should see this movie.
2 minutes of excitement
Overall good movie..keep in mind these are the actual heros and not actors so get past the acting to the real message.
I loved this movie all the way especially that it was inspired by the actual people that waa the true heroes of it all. This is a for sure a must see movie and being that these guys never acted being blew me away , they really did a great job and it was a nice idea by Clint Eastwood!!!
feel good movie with mediocre acting. tried to make a 5 minute event into a full length movie meant boring "filler" items,. honestly. should've been a made for tv special.
Don’t wast your money.
two stars for trying love the story and heroism but thay acting tho
Not a bad movie just predictable and slow with an anticlimactic ending. Strong Christian message which makes a(spoiler alert) club scene a little awkward.
don't waste your time and money on this film. the trailer made it look good and stuff, but the real action is at the last 10-20 mins of the movie. the acting sucked, the movie sucked, and very boring. clint eastwood directed this? i expected more from him.
I'm not super critical of movies, but this wasn't really that great. The whole event in the movie really only lasted like.. 3 minutes. The rest was like an uninteresting euro trip and some pretty awkward lines.
It was a good movie. Very good plot, the producer was #MAKINGAMERICAGREATAGAIN!!!!
I'd like my money back.
A bit too much background made it slow moving until the last 20 minutes
More about following the friendship of the three guys and little about the train
Not bad but not great either.
More movies like this. The world needs to see inspirational movies become the norm! Faith!
it was an honest retelling with no overly dramatic moments. A well crafted film.
There could have been a lot more dynamic and perspective added to this movie. The only reason I gave it three ⭐️⭐️⭐️ was because the actual HEROS play their parts.
Really liked that the actual people that were part of the event played themselves in the movie.
I really enjoyed watching this movie! So much that I saw it twice this weekend!
Terrible. I’d never see it again. What a waste of money.
you can do better i loved the story but i felt boring almost half movie
I thought it would be much better I was very disappointed
Very poor acting.
Metacritic
Mr. Eastwood, who has long favored a lean, functional directing style, practices an economy here that makes some of his earlier movies look positively baroque. He almost seems to be testing the limits of minimalism, seeing how much artifice he can strip away and still achieve some kind of dramatic impact.
Eastwood's main achievement here lies in trusting his hunch that the young men could handle playing themselves onscreen, with an acceptable naturalness and without self-consciousness. This they do, without a false note.
The oddity of the movie — and this is baked into the way Eastwood conceived it, sticking to the facts and not over-hyping anything — is that this vision of real-life heroism is so much less charged than the Hollywood version might be that it often feels as if a dramatic spark plug is missing.
