😭This film was so concrete, I'm so excited to see this movie on shrooms again. lol really brings out the spirits in this one
Hated it and I was high so it got me paranoid. Nawh, it was too graphic and I was enjoying my snacks🫠
Solid concept but nothing groundbreaking
Cool idea, and overall pretty good. Definitely spooky and creepy. Didn’t really explain too much and left you like “wait, what?” at the end.
them Australians did that ‼️ everybodys acting was on point 💯
Another original and great piece from A24
3 stars because the ending felt rushed but overall it’s a different movie. Nowhere near “scary” but it’s original. Have to watch it again to get a better understanding of what went on.
Something different, I’ll call it more suspense than horror, good story line also great ending, 100% recommended
You can go watch if you want to sleep! The movie is a total snooze fest.
Unexpected… one of the best horror movies I’ve ever seen 👻👻
It was ok
😳
Actually solid movie, unique idea, quiet disturbing if you aren’t used to shock value and gore, had trouble understanding the ending but Great nonetheless
Don’t see at all
Wasn’t scary at all lol
I wish the ending was better where she was still stuck in the world between and her friends tried to save her
The cast was really good, but it wasn’t scary or really worth the money in my opinion.
Has a dumb ending
Wish I could get my money back
Never got to watch it the theater was shut down!
It was okay. Ending is ehhh cast is….
Pretty solid horror movie, should watch it if you plan on it anytime soon.
This was absolutely horrendous usually A24 has great films but This was complete garbage worst movie I've seen all year
pretty good. looks like they are setting up for a sequel. made me sad she kilt her dad but it was a good movie.
Didn’t make any sense to me
This is not a horror film. It had some jump scares. I kind of dosed off in the middle. The trailer before the movie was more scary.
Such an original concept w a great. I loved seeing these new faces. I feel like this is a very accurate, modern day horror. I imagine if the hand existed in this day and age, the tiktok/streamer folks would do exactly what the teens did in the film. Glad to see youtubers/their ideas go Hollywood. A24 does it yet again!! I also love the attention to detail— the way the camera pans/falls with each posessions, the character/scene colors, and the water sound bites.
I probably have to watch this again to fully understand what the heck I just watched lol but pretty terrifying I gotta say
Great movie I liked the actors a lot in this and the concept of the film. I felt like the movie lost its edge towards the end and it felt a little rushed, but still worth a watch at least once.
Only wish it was a little longer and abit more effects. Another a24 hit
The concept was pretty good and it had scares.
Meh
We wanted to enjoy this movie very much but we left 10 minutes in due to obnoxious teens would not stop talking
original story. Actors were on point which made it more realistic. Does not explain much but it wasn’t a deal breaker really. Overall a good movie
It held my interest most of the time and I was looking forward to seeing something creative towards the end, but disappointed.
It’s chewsday
SICK SICK SICK ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF 2023!!
Hated the ending. Overall it was okay.
Pretty good movie
I loved it it was good
this was pretty good. very interesting and original
More Demon/Spirit visuals please !!
reminded me a lot of the six sense . also fresh take on horror genre... loved it
needed more action scary jumpy parts
10/10 would talk to again
Astoundingly well thought out, and thought provoking horror. Use of sound and visual effects were great from this indie project!
A great horror/physiological movie in a while!
While nothing groundbreaking, I thought it was at least refreshing. A couple of relatively chilling sequences throughout, and not nearly as much reliance on jumpscare as your typical possession movie.
They build suspense and never let it go
It was definitely a good movie. kind of predictable at times. Ending was a bit confusing. but overall you get the point and where its going.
Metacritic
A stylish, well-crafted piece of filmmaking that marks the auspicious arrival of twin Australian filmmakers Michael and Danny Philippou.
Talk to Me is hardly a bad horror film, but the disconnect between what was and what could be looms large over the final act.

Although the movie’s energies dip slightly toward its end, when Mia’s plan to rid the world of the cursed hand requires superhuman acts of strength and derring-do, Talk to Me delivers a series of slash-and-burn shocks that last far longer than 90 seconds.
