Moviegoers are saying

Quavo's 'Takeover' delivers a visually striking comic book-meets-GTA aesthetic that divides audiences between those captivated by its innovative rotoscope animation style and those questioning why this Migos fever dream exists at all. After a four-year production journey, this Atlanta-set action thriller pairs the rapper with a bewildered-looking Billy Zane in what reviewers describe as either 'absolute cinema' or one of the worst things they've ever watched.

“you don’t know anything about me” “I ain’t care to either” I came to watch this just because quavo was the star, and I am very glad I did. he was wonderful. the editing was pretty cool, it was like comic book meets gta.

What a weird movie. Filmed in a very interesting gritty format. Pretty decent action. Billy Zane what are you doing in this.

After nearly 4 years of waiting, I finally saw Takeover (I seriously thought the day might never come). This was a limited theatrical release, and I’m so glad I saw it in a theater. I was a background actor in this film, back when I lived in Atlanta (filmed in August…

The rotoscope animation is legitimately rather compelling, and there’s a clear visual language being developed in this film. Otherwise, I’m sort of baffled why this even exists. Are Migos relevant and why is Billy Zane here, nobody knows. Quavo is not a real actor. This…
