Breathtaking. An almost perfect adaptation. Just amazed because I was sure it couldn't be done. The one needle scratch moment for me was the "boyfriend" comment. but other than that
The Live Action was a great adaptation of the film Spirited Away. The production was done so well and the casting was just great, I’d absolutely love to watch it again!
Pretty meh. I can’t imagine people really liking this if they don’t already like the anime. They didn’t add any new ideas or alternative takes on the story, and there were only a couple of songs. I thought the production quality of the costumes, fx, and video projections could have been stronger, especially when compared to other stage plays.
AMC Fashion Valley San Diego: They played the animated movie instead of the play. Best they could do was refund the money and shared Hopefully they will try to show it next week.
Beautiful puppetry, choreography, and set design. Will be loved by fans of the film for how creatively it brings these beloved characters and scenes to life!
would love to see this performance live!!!

It was an absolutely magical experience! To see the wonder and beauty of a Miyazaki’s masterpiece brought to life was truly transporting. I watched in awe, filled with joy throughout the entire performance. The sets, puppeteers, performers, and music flowed seamlessly and were flawless from start to finish. Utterly breathtaking! Would undoubtedly watch again!

Heartfelt film and captures the true essence of the animation.

beautiful stage performance, had no idea how they would pull off recreating the film, but it was stunning.
Incredibly charming production! Wonderful experience!
I didn't know what it be like. But it lived up to the movie it was a great time to watch. I felt as if I had the best seat in the house. And like I was really there watching it in Japan. It is a great tribute to the creator of Spirited Away.
Beautifully staged and acted.
