Atom User Reviews for Spider-Man: Homecoming
after seeing Spiderman homecoming twice, knowing that no mive is 100% perfect, i can say this is my favorite Spiderman by a long shot. We finally see the development of Peter Parker while he is in highschool. this is not a movie about Spiderman just fighting bad guys, hes also fighting being a normal kid trying to prove he has what it takes to be an avenger. this is a must see for any Marvel fan
would watch again 🤓🕷🕸🕸
Best Spider-Man yet. Huge marvel fan here and they really stepped it up. I was skeptical at first but they topped my expectations.
all the actors in the movie sucked this movie could have been a lot better
It's a step in the right direction, let's keep the partnership between Marvel and Sony going for Spider-Man's sake.
Loved this movie honestly I can say this is the best spider man movie I have ever seen!!!
I am me.
Enjoyable movie. It was geared for a younger crowd. It was as if John Hughes wrote and directed Spider-Man.
Best Spider-Man movie yet! Looking forward to Infinity War.
Great movie
So good I loved it and my son wants to see it again.
Was not crazy about Spider man beign so young. Needed more action not enough drama.
Def lives up to the expectations
Michael Keaton well done! Tom Holland playing the H.S. Spidey did well, but think Marvel down played Spider-Man' strength ad's abilities... They also over did Stark tricking out the suit a bit when Spider-Man is the one that designed it... Over all, a good movie but as a Marvel movie came up a bit short...
spiderman done right
A pg-13 deadpool
Good story line to keep you interested through the movie. Spider-Man seems whiny and there's been better but he did a decent job. Action filled, a little love story, friendship values, saving people from the bad guys..... it's all in here. worth the trip to go see and I am sooooo not a spider man guru so go check it out!!
Really enjoyable. Tom Holland is fabulous. Broke out of the Marvel mold.
Movie got end did not see all of it
To be honest as a Spider-Man fan I was only disappointed once again by a Spider-Man movie.
Everything I expected Spider-Man to be!
It was good, but I was a little let down.
Fantastic movie. All parts from casting to writing and directing. Truly the most accurate screen representation of spider man we've seen to date
movie for teenagers
#brave
Best Spider-Man movie ever hands down
to drawn out
The greatest Spider-Man so far! I recommend it.
Fantastic, fun and a great time for everyone!
The sound went out of sync when birdman killed the black guy and and then the screen went black and never came back on. Strange ending, really new age having no post movie credits or a middle/conclusion to the narrative.
Good flick, could have been better but he's only 15 years old so more of a good family flick!
Such a fun movie!! Well done especially since super hero movies are a dime a dozen now.
I finally felt like Spider-Man captured the essence of the comic books because he was actually a kid and it took place in a high school... where as others didn’t have anything to do with adolescents
too kiddy.. too cheesy.. not enough action
Stupid.
Great movie! Full of comedy and action
This movie was very well made. It had a good balance of humor, action, drama and suspense. I'm is a great movie for the whole family.
It was ok.
It was good but could've been way better. There wasn't enough character development and it all seemed kinda rushed. But other than that it was good
The movie Was very childish
Nothing special.
It is the best movie I have seen in my life <3.
beyond awesome
this was an achievement
Great movie! I can promise you the next series of Spiderman films will be amazing!
A Spider-Man movie that finally used some spidey sense!
good movies
It was fun, but rather juvenile for an Avengers movie.
Great movie.
it's the Spider-Man we deserve and need
Metacritic
Against considerable odds, Spider-Man: Homecoming finds its pace and rhythm by the end. Not only did figuring out how to become an effective Spider-Man require more of a learning curve than Parker anticipates, figuring out how to make a successful superhero movie mandated one for the filmmakers as well.
The film, for much of the first two acts, takes itself just about that unseriously, maintaining a jokey, self-aware tone that is nicely evocative of the original comics.
Tom Holland masterfully channels Peter’s teenage angst, which could easily come off as melodramatic or superficial, and infuses it with respect. Watts’s artful work makes you realize how often we don’t take teenagers’ anxieties, joys, and fears seriously. Peter’s life in Homecoming is a frustrating, jagged journey toward figuring out what kind of person he is.
