absolutely incredible!
I was expecting more, it was a bit disappointing, but Kristen Stewart did a good job.
Phenomenal film
Highly recommend! Best exploration of the Queen of Hearts' life yet! Stewart totally embodies Lady Diana!
I thought this was her life story. the whole movie is only based over a few days of a Christmas holiday
Beautiful and Inspiring

Awful, don’t see it
Spencer was a great film that embodied the heart of Princess Diana as the public saw her and as we suspected she was treated. Regardless of the truth presented in the film, the oppression of a free spirit was presented honestly.
Metacritic
It takes one of the most gifted screen actresses of her generation and casts her out to sea with nothing to hold onto but a hideous script that’s all attitude without depth or understanding.
The film plays with and deconstructs the familiar repertoire of Diana myths and images, to offer an empathetic, intelligent insight into the prison of fame and privilege, with Kristen Stewart offering a lead performance that is brittle, tender, sometimes playful and not a little uncanny.
It's possible to admire the performance and still come away feeling director Pablo Larrain's fictionalized movie doesn't significantly add to a story many of us already know in exhaustive detail.
