What Jaws did for swimming in the ocean, Society did for attending underground incest orgies.

Justin LaLibertyJun 24, 201993 Basically if Rosemary's Baby and They Live put on their swimsuit and went to the beach. Terrifying in plain sight, and rooted in sun-baked pain and carnality. One of the most shocking conclusions I can think of, even though it can be seen from miles away.

Stuart Gordon's Eyes Wide Shut. A wonderfully bizarre, unnatural parody of cutthroat social-climbing Beverly Hills, 90210-esque rich yuppie teenagers coming of age (starring Baywatch actor Billy Warlock as B-movie Marty McFly) that in its final reel morphs into a…

this is exactly how it feels to live in a society… wow this movie is just nuts, the last 30 minutes had my jaw on the floor the entire time it’s a nice slow-burn creepy conspiracy flick leading up to that too the body horror effects are just insane, i enjoyed myself in a sick way
A pretty solid, slow burn horror film. It does an oddly great job of blending horror and conspiracy together, which culminates in a grotesque body horror showcase in the climax of the film.

Kind of a hidden gem? I was really digging this until the ending got me hardcore uncomfortable because I was watching with my dad lol

It comes across as yet another in a long line of poorly produced horror/paranoia bloodbaths, short on everything except cheesy effects.
No one who sees the last half-hour of this movie will ever forget it--though quite a few may want to.
