penetration anxiety
matt lynchJun 8, 2012Any film that can instantaneously transport me back to my days of endless joyful browsing of VHS box covers deciding what horror to watch next, gets five stars. Michael Rooker owns this film so much it's just ridiculous.
DirkHJul 23, 2021This was entertaining even though it is gross. It is a body horror horror movie which kinda surprised me. I thought it was more about slugs. It is directed by James Gunn famous for the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. It is a decent watch but not perfect . You can check it…

Disney: Hey, can you make a Marvel movie for us? We saw your previous works and we think you have potential. James Gunn: Who? Me? Disney: Yeh boi. James Gunn: ... Disney: ... James Gunn: Really? And then a legend claimed his birthright.
JP DaltonSep 11, 2023That's it. The windows are staying shut at night now. I don't care how hot it is.
Jay 👽Aug 11, 2014James Gunn's film about slugs and true love with an ode to his Troma past. Mac from The Thing owned a funeral parlor? Wino Lloyd Kaufman. Hot for teacher. James Gunn pulling a Hitch with a goofy as fuck cameo. Cooters? Officer Mal Castle. Gina rhymes with China. Horny Merle…

The Cronenbergian urge to infect lesser lifeforms with parasitic offspring to mutate their bodies and control their minds for assimilation into the collective consciousness of an all-consuming entity.
CinemaVoid 🏴☠️Nov 5, 2017Slither is an outrageous, goopy, grotesque tribute to the things many of us grew up loving, tastefully done with enthusiasm and never taking itself to seriously, which is the key... plus I absolutely adore the cast and it’s wonderful to see Gregg Henry again. Filled with…
Ian WestApr 1, 2018This movie baffles me. There are so many things that say I should f*cking LOVE it: Elizabeth Banks, Nathan Fillion, gross out effects, humor, and so on. I watched it shortly after it came out with the complete expectation that I would adore it and yet I really didn’t care…

Schlocky B-Horror/Comedy at its absolute best. A great ensemble cast of character actors makes this super enjoyable. It’s creepy yet uproariously funny. Top 20 horror-comedies for sure; maybe top 10.
An old movie that’s pretty good. Like obv visually speaking is not as good as now movies but I still managed to feel absolutely repulsed and uncomfortable so I think it’s enjoyable. If you want sumn that’s not rlly scary but traumatic in a way, this is it 7.5/10

One of my fav horror movies to watch are ones where an interesting group of people need to come together and horror things ensue. You know what I mean. This did not disappoint with a stacked cast and funny moments along with the creepy ones! 100/10 (and toxic avenger mentioned)
it just felt like a B rated syfy monster flick that replays on at 1 am. not very funny or has anything below the surface level. my favorite part was just seeing james gunn give himself a cameo scene. still cool how he’s always casted his close friends over and over again

My dad asked me to watch this with him and I was thoroughly repulsed by all the different alien forms lol. Honestly a really good and funny horror movie and the cast was so stacked. I can’t believe I didn’t watch this sooner because of Nathan fillion.
Slither was an absolute horrible movie. Besides bad acting, it also had a simplistic plot, and the worst was that it didn't know if it wanted to be a comedy or a horror movie, it hopelessly failed in both categories.
