I was obsessed with the “Frankendoodle” episode of SpongeBob SquarePants as a kid, so naturally, I ate this up.
Lexi AmorielloJul 28, 2025Leaving the theater and just couldn’t wait to tell the world how friggin awesome SKETCH is. So fresh, legit funny, thrilling in the way it puts kids in danger like the good old days of GOONIES, E.T., and FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR. The effects are wild and pop off the screen.…
Josh RubenAug 4, 2025Wow, a PG rated film that felt like a horror, had little to no advertising, great acting and cgi effects, ended up being more enjoyable than a lot of the big budget horseshit Hollywoods released this year….. what a twist

🧨72% 🔙The Day the Earth Blew Up: Looney Tunes🔙 🔜Weapons🔜 This was never on my watchlist but wow I’m glad I got gifted some free tickets to go with peskymason. Sure it’s not great but it’s a really solid kids film, it’s a great concept and makes for a fun and also…
peskypaulSep 6, 2024Seth knocked it out of the park. The kids deliver. Tony Hale is perfect. The monsters are perfect. The tone is perfect. What I love most is its heart and honesty, which Seth has always been incredibly good at — delivering emotional depth in the most relatable way. Give…
Ryan ConnollySep 12, 2024One of the best live-action family films in recent memory, SKETCH bursts with vibrant energy, combining thrilling excitement & creativity into a heartfelt story of repressed emotion & how we channel it. The focused tone balances playful humor with monster horror,…

We grieve in so many ways. Some prefer to be silent, shrug it off or push it to the back of their minds, while others turn to drawing as an outlet for their pent-up emotions. Worley’s Sketch shows that there’s nothing wrong with the latter (and all the more wrong with the…
allain♡Sep 14, 2025I first came across Sketch in an episode of Corridor Digital’s VFX Artists React, and it came across as a labour of love, a small group of people coming together for a single vision, and it looked like a jolly good time, and it was. But then it got distributed by Angel…
gregs1999Jul 28, 2025The best movie to come out in 2025 that features Minecraft as a plot point. Way better than I expected. I remember seeing a trailer for this a couple months back and being intrigued, yet super hesitant, since it was being distributed by Angel, Inc./Angel Studios. Religious…

I didn’t know what to expect from this movie, but I did enjoy it. It could definitely be too scary for a younger kids at times. The score is pretty great and adds to the creepiness of the movie. Even though it’s by Angel Studios, there are no religious undertones or blatant placement anywhere in…

Came for Janet, left in tears. Listen, I was legit excited for this movie even tho I thought it’d be cheesy. Blown away. It was emotional, super cool, creative, well-acted, funny, and (mostly) family friendly. Everyone in my theater laughed and shuddered. Well done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
wait why this movie lowkey goated I think that this has a very important message that not many kids movies have portrayed other than inside out. wasn't filled with cringe fart joke humor either, It was a very charming movie. if you grew up with goosebumps, you'll love this.

Some of the writing felt a bit cringey and predictable but other than that it’s a fun family film. The lean in making it feel slightly like a horror with the sound editing at the start was nicely done
This was a lot of fun. Good starter horror for kiddos. Not too scary. Not really bloody or gory. Good message. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Bro! This movie had my nephew and I experiencing all the feels. We laughed we cried we did both at the same time. If an adult is struggling watch this movie and see how a child can shape what you are going thru in your favor!
Look, I liked the movie. I thought the premise and the plot was super cool, original, and, at times, beautiful. I did not know how...creepy it would be though. Family friendly? IDK. I took my 8 yr old but omg I was freaking out for her. I feel like the editing could have toned down the intensity... Like the suspense music? It could have been toned down and the rage of audience would have been better. Good message. Execution? Needed a more family friendly lens. Did it depict grief well? Absolutely. Will it give me and my kid nightmares. Maybe.

No matter its title, it’s a full-bodied triumph bursting with humor, tenderness, and imagination.
Its masterful blend of action and emotion through tightly nuanced writing and performances elevates the film to stand out as one of the most endearing films of 2024.
Worley has adroitly assembled the mega-mash-up into an engaging whole, with the help of an amiable cast and a crack technical team.
