The way Marvel fans reacted when Tobey and Andrew showed up in No Way Home is how I reacted when Johnny’s dad showed up near the end

Swing and a miss. Maybe the expectations were too high, but all the charm from the first one went right out the window. Everything seemed so forced, from the plot to the new characters.
Better than the first tbh, I absolutely loved the ending. Lovely movie! ❤️ Edit: I loved the scene of Mrs. Crawly singing along to chop suey 😭 ★★★★

It’s as show stopping as the first one. The animation is top notch, the songs were banging, the cast is perfect, the story is heartwarming and fun! If you’re a fan of musicals and the first film see this movie it will not disappoint.
Christmas fun for the whole family. It was very moving and reminds you to never give up on dreams. Great message about how people will judge you and try to tear you down, but as long as you believe in yourself all things are possible.
Metacritic
In Sing 2’s defence, the film is at least enthusiastic about its own overabundance, and the new celebrity voice additions – Halsey’s mollycoddled, rich-girl wolf or Letitia Wright’s street-dancing lynx – fit nicely into the mix.
The sequel is all glitz and no heart.
Sing 2 is like having a mainstream radio station on in the background. It’s enjoyable and not in the least bit challenging. And sometimes that’s enough.
