Moviegoers are saying
This Christmas-themed horror film starring Rohan Campbell as a charismatic serial killer has audiences torn between guilty pleasure and genuine criticism. While viewers are captivated by Campbell's magnetic performance and the film's unconventional holiday premise of hunting white supremacists, many criticize its Hallmark-level production values that undermine the darker Dexter-meets-Venom concept.

Nelson may be throwing too much at the wall, but he does manage to make you feel something beyond just gross-out thrills.

It's well-acted and not schlocky, but it's one of those presents you open on Christmas, excited to receive it, only to forget about it the next day.

Silent Night, Deadly Night, is at its best when Nelson remembers how schlocky this material is, and he falters when he tries too hard to take it seriously.
