Synopsis

Rose Da Silva takes her adopted daughter, Sharon, to the town of Silent Hill in an attempt to cure her of her ailment. After a violent car crash, Sharon disappears and Rose begins a horrific journey to get her back.

    cybil and rose are lesbian for each other and i will not take criticism on that this movie was cool but i feel like you gotta watch it with video game logic in mind or else some decisions don’t really make sense i liked trying to figure out the mystery though

    it's an old scary movie so the acting and special effects can only do so much, but for the time it's good. I NEED MORE ATTENTION ON THE INSANE KILLS, being skinned in one movement, BEING BURNT ALIVE, the barbed wires...bro cmon. idc i liked it

    I remember it being way more terrifying when I watched it as a teen but I really like the monsters now. Love Cybil and Rose. The actress for Sharon/Alessa was kinda annoying. The story was pretty interesting. (I never played the game so idk/idc about accuracy but I enjoyed it)

Despite its often-overwhelming nonsensicality, there’s ultimately something irresistibly fiendish about Silent Hill, which not only condemns holier-than-thou religious zealots, but also—if I understand its gruesome finale—seems to be firmly on the side of the Devil.
