The movie was very childish and the jokes were not hitting at all. Plus they had to make sure Skittles got their time in the sun.

Writers dumbed down the main character too much. Unnecessary. The overall story was not interesting.

It’s a mid superhero movie. Jack Dylan Grazer’s character is a bit annoying in some scenes.

How can they ruin such a great character? This was worse than the first movie! It was so bad it should not have been on a movie screen. It belongs in the ethos of the 1960’s camp crap of Batman with Adam West. Save your money!

Started slow but ended up being a good movie

As a fan of the first Shazam film, I absolutely loved this second entry. Watching this movie felt like coming home, but not just any home a home of comfort, fun, heart, and sweet old familiarity. 10/10 Excellent Sequel

as you know DC has been struggling with their movies lately, but the shazam movie was so good the first time that I was just hopeful they didn't mess it up this time. and I was not let down! super funny great storyline plenty of time to build up the characters and the movie plot but not so long that it got overdone like the latest batman. definitely worth seeing, can't wait to see it again and own this movie.

feel like the hastags do justice. this was just a pathetic movie. thought it might be better than I was not already expecting.

It got a little slow near the middle-end…. They were trying to build up the bad creature story line and it was getting old! Other than that the movies was good.

I enjoyed it overall for what it was (a mindless dorky Superhero movie) but it wasn't anything close to amazing. It tried way too hard to be funny with all the jokes. This movie is already box office bomb. The main Villain (Lucy Liu) was quite basic/generic too.

the magic from the first one is there, but about 2/3 into it it fizzles. Mid credits and post credit scenes are afoot. we're all in all it's pretty high mid.

The sequel is like watching a good friend come back from a study abroad with an affected accent that you can’t talk them out of.

Billy’s inane babbling gets a little wearing, but the action sequences, featuring dragon-based mayhem, cyclopes and an army of formidable hell unicorns hopped up on candy, are pacy and fun.

The tossed-off charm of the original suffers from bloated sequelitis. Still, star Zachary Levi’s comic-book invitation to shake your sillies out will be hard to resist for underserved family audiences.
