KarstenMay 23, 2021I'm sorry but not a single kill was unjustified. Legalize murder!
johnMar 13, 2021There is no greater feeling than seeing Matthew Lillard in a film you didn't expect him to be in.

“the only ‘serial’ i know anything about is rice krispies!”
KarstenJun 27, 2021The woman in this film who has an orgasmic experience watching Annie while her dog licks her feet is the most horrifying pervert depicted in any John Waters film.
jamesJun 19, 2014I often forget how canny John Waters is. Rewatching this, for the first time in over 15 years, what struck me most is the way Waters addressed the American obsession with crime and sensationalized murder with his usual over-the-top aplomb and obvious affection. He lightly…

i watched this for mother’s day and i absolutely loved it it was campy, hilarious, fun and clever and i just adored beverly, she did nothing wrong tbh this is such a good satirical female rage film that explores the hypocrisies within our society when it comes to violence
It had an unsettling vibe to it. Most of the movie I was kinda bored but it was just good enough to keep me watching in the hopes that it’d get better. It started to get good the last 30 minutes so I’m glad I stayed. Good movie just think its a one watch only type of show

A classic horror comedy before it was a legitimate subgenre, though definitely way more comedy than horror. The laughs are hard and the kill scenes are ridiculously over the top. Quintessential 90s viewing. So funny.
Oh, Serial Mom, my beloved. American Dream suburbia is the backdrop for this hilarious satire following Beverly Sutphin’s serial murders. Made me laugh out loud multiple times. The courtroom scene is a stand-out. 10/10
