correctly guessed that a character would dab 😔
mia lee vicinoMay 15, 2020thank god scrappy doo died in miami so he didn’t have to live through this
nickMay 15, 202015 It somehow took four credited writers to create a lame superhero Scooby-Doo team up story loaded with Warner Bros/Hanna Barbara brand references and top 40 needle-drops. First ten minutes were cute as it actually seems to follow the horror conventions of the formula.…

Idk what’s worse, the film itself or the fact that six credited writers decided to include a Simon Cowell cameo

started out really fun but then it kinda lost me.... when will we get the truly GOOD nice and spooky mystery inc movie/series that we deserve :-(
˗ˏˋ suspirliam ˊˎ˗May 15, 2020I can't believe how much I enjoyed it. I miss Matthew Lillard as Shaggy but at least we got Frank Welker as Scooby-doo. The movie isn't perfect but it's an enjoyable flick.

Would it be cool as a new movie, separate from the Scooby series ? Yes. Is it cool as a part of the Scooby series ? Absolutely not. Character design and delivery is awful. Not everything needs to be redone in a “modern” fashion. At least kids won’t know what the difference is 😔
A decent and fun movie. However,it’s not really a Scooby Doo movie. Supervillains and end-of-the world plots aren’t Scooby’s style. Trades in the classic Scooby-Doo charm and whodunit mystery for a cliché animated adventure. Still a fun time, but it’s just not Scooby-Doo. 7/10
I feel like this would be better if they just didn’t make it a scooby doo movie. With the case of actual things happening not just evil plans of fake ghosts from villains, it didn’t have the feeling of scooby doo. That and making it a super hero movie was out of left field

I’m having trouble deciding if it was bad enough for a “meh” or good enough for a “like”? I wasn’t expecting it to be great but it also wasn’t that good either, I was a little disappointed.
NA The animation style/quality had me on edge from the start but Simon Cowell’s face achieved throwing me completely off.

The best part of Scoob!, a computer-animated reboot of the Scooby-Doo franchise, is the part in which the movie painstakingly recreates the opening credits of the original series.
Granted, Scoob! appears more into recycling than reinvention -- it's more a snack than a meal -- but it does endeavor to make an old concept fresh and cool again in children's eyes. That might answer the question why the movie exists, but based on the results, nothing here merits an exclamation point.
The movie is brisk, good-natured, and amusing, but these aren’t qualities that demand the resurrection of a low-rent cartoon empire. The charm of Scooby-Doo and his friends doesn’t have anything to do with the world of bizarre Hanna-Barbera TV curiosities they helped spawn. It comes from their mysterious ability to survive well past their seeming expiration date.
