He played Michael Corleone THREE TIMES, he played Tony Montana, he played Carlito Brigante, he coined the phrase "ATTICA! ATTICA!", he played Frank Serpico, and he blew the roof off with over a dozen other performances, but The Academy gives him the Oscar for his most over…

I loved this story. A prep school kid babysitting a blind, retired, army veteran while they venture around New York. It’s funny and heartfelt. I got Dead Poets Society vibes from this and I’m all for it. Al Pacino steals the show.

A heartwarming but simultaneously heartbreaking film that changes your outlook on life. After watching this film it has definitely solidified my love for Al Pacino and confirmed that he is probably my favourite actor of all time. No wonder he got the Oscar for this performance.
I can definitely see where other movies took inspiration from it like “the fundamentals of caring” RDJs iron man and “anger management” which I love Hoo-Ah!
In my point of view and also it is the fact Al Pacino if he wasn’t the best actor ever he will be the 2nd . It is amazing how beautiful is that film , specially Al Pacino’s act . The end was very happy and perfect . I loved this film 4 sure one of the best . It goes for 9/10 ❤️❤️

What a movie. The acting was incredible and the character development is some of the best I’ve seen in a movie in a long time. Theres something that breaks my heart when witnessing the wonderful interactions between Charlie and Frank but it was one of the best parts of the film.
One of those movies that just grabs you. Al Pacino is loud, honest, and weirdly lovable-he makes you tear up and laugh in the same scene. I love the friendship between Frank and Charlie-they somehow save each other. The story’s got heart, humor, and that epic tango. 7/10🕺🏻

There's no denying that Pacino's performance is superb. The rest of the movie plays like a bunch of inconsequentially strung together sequences.
By the end of Scent of a Woman, we have arrived at the usual conclusion of the coming-of-age movie, and the usual conclusion of the prep school movie. But rarely have we been taken there with so much intelligence and skill.
If there's anything special about the film, it's that on this occasion, the emotional realism of the characters, especially Slade, is heartwrenchingly believable.
