this one’s fun because the jigsaw killer finally switches it up and starts going after rapists and abusers instead of, like, people with depression

rigg is one of the most frustrating characters in cinematic history, donnie wahlberg is annoying and im glad his head got sandwiched by those ice blocks
4.4 - The downturn has started. The story & victims’ connection has gotten so confusing & incoherent, it’s almost impossible to completely follow - even when you’ve watched the previous 3 right before. Traps are losing imagination & violence is getting gratuitous. Unnecessary.

I’ve seen people say this is where the series starts to fall off, but honestly I enjoyed it. It’s very very confusing but overall a very interesting movie :) it also has some of the coolest transitions I’ve ever seen. Tw intense gore, intense SA scene, violence
I can’t imagine watching these unspoiled and wonder if I’d even register the twists when they happen. Even knowing the plot, I can barely follow it, but that’s not really a complaint, it’s still such a fun watch. Gore is finally fully on screen and I love it.

Were it not for the saving grace of Tobin Bell's mere presence, there's little doubt that Saw IV would come off about as well as a typical straight-to-video horror sequel.
These movies never get old to me. each one is special in its own way and each time I watch them I see something new that makes them so great!
