Excellent cut and awesome experience! The music always rocks and I enjoyed reliving both the concert and film. Thank you Alex, Neal and Geddy for wonderful memories!
R.I.P. Neil Peart. Alex and Geddy thank you for all you have given us over the years. God bless RUSH!
Nice to gather with others who love and miss them too
Rush is one of those bands that you either "get" or don't. If you do "get" them, they are one of your favorite bands. The music of Rush is guided by equal parts heart and intellect. While I'm sad that I will never see them live again, I'm thankful for all they gave and am glad to be able to experience them again in this format. Thank you Geddy and Alex. Neil, you are sorely missed.
A great finale. A phenomenal performance and excellent extras. Only issue was the sound started well then it was excessively loud. Had to step out to the hallway for a moment and was still too loud. Saw it in Bensalem PA
Rush have never disappointed ...iconic...greatest band ever... RIP Neil... All best wishes for Geddy, Alex and families....
Rush fans getting together sharing memories! Perfect
Fabulous, emotional. Like seeing them live on last time!
Great sound, great venue. Stay through the credits. Wonderful to see Neal and the love the audience had for him. Would love another one—a mashup from concerts through the years. Think about it!
On numerous occasions many of us in the theater jumped out of our seats and cheered openly. Even the maniacs in the crowd were appreciated as they ran up and down the aisle in rapturous delight. It is amazing to see the impact Rush has had on so many musicians – and music in general; Mix in some amazing live footage and it was a wonderfully entertaining show! Can’t wait for the next movie to feed the fans’ indulgence for Rush.
Miss their concerts!
A big thanks to the Baton Rouge Theatre for accommodating the theatergoers from New Orleans whose shows were canceled due to no power from Hurricane Ida. The new mix sounded fantastic in the theatre from the recliner. Driven... aground... in the teeth of a Hurricane was a Snider!!! See you next year. Arrr 40. Plus!
No group ever like RUSH. RIP the Greatest drummer who ever breathed earth's air
Movie was overall great, the theater sucked!
Magical and emotional
Great show, terrible AMC movie theater experience
Great concert film. Great sound especially the in audience vibe. ADon’t leave until the entire film ends. It’s Snake it’s a spider. Snider.
Best guys = best band ever!!! Thank you boys for all the great times over the years… decades that is… So glad to be along for the lifelong ride!!!
It's hard to believe that I'll never see this band live again . True musicians not like the crap the music business pukes out today. If you have a chance to see this again in the future jump on it!
More of a live performance than a straight up doc, but lots to love. Great camera work, stellar music, some deep cuts that I’ve never heard. As a “new” RUSH fan I think this up to snuff for anyone interested in getting their RUSH fix.
If you're a Rush fan, it's R40. If you're not, well, it's Rush, moving, technical, nostalgic, humorous. Had an awesome time with old friends.
I've been a Rush fan since 1977. I think this is a must see for any fan of the band. The 45 worldwide female Rush fans will enjoy it too, however I would not recommend taking a woman to see it unless she's one of the 45
What an amazing concert and the extra features were awesome.
Saw the live Houston show in '15. First, and sadly only Rush show I'll see. Now-husband got me hooked. Worth seeing this in the theater.
I never got the opportunity to see my favorite band live but this movie was a great way to experience the proffesor, lerxst, and geddy on the big screen. Rip Neil Peart
sound was amazing for XD
Excellent!
Very well produced tribute to Rush! They really deserve it. R.I.P Professor Neal Peart.
GREAT TO SEE THE BOYS ON THE BIG SCREEN. THE PROFESSOR R.I.P.
Great film! Smile on my face throughout the show. The sound in the theatre could have been better. Still 5 stars.
Another look at the amazing Neil Peart. From the Anarchist, “They tried to get me, they will never forget me.”
Truly amazing!!! Best to ever do it. I really miss them
