Reminded me a lot of THE VIGIL and/or LA LLARONA. And I’ll watch David Dastmalchian chew scenery in his own special way even through a door jamb.  Hey look it’s Kevin from HOLLISTON!

A film with a cool idea, but poorly executed; it was even difficult to watch. Ranking 2025

i didn't fully pay attention while watching, but this was still an interesting film. it felt confusing at times, though learning more about the background helped in understanding the plot. the ending was crazy and makes it worth a rewatch with full focus!

With deeper script work, this could have been a more compelling story. Everything here leans into familiar tropes and feels superficial. None of these performances were selling the horror aspect. 3

I don’t know why so many people gave this a bad review. Interesting cast good story sufficiently creepy and gross. The end was a little confusing, but I didn’t really care. I enjoyed it.

If I could give this film zero stars I would. A cultural piece that couldn’t decide which story direction it wanted to take. This film falls flat on its face on arrival.

Rosario stretches the material of a really good short film into an underwhelming feature.

I like movies like “Rosario” — creepy little horror films with enough scares to keep you on edge and enough of a story to keep you invested.

If you haven't seen many demon possession movies, or on the opposite spectrum, if you can't get enough of them, Rosario is a decent 90-minute watch. It's not awful, it's not going to insult you, but it's a retread of better movies with every predictable plot point you can imagine.
