I actually haven’t seen this movie in ten years (I guess I was around 15?) and didn’t really remember much so I don’t know if the new director’s cut is superior to the previous theatrical release — but I sure had a great time watching this version on the big screen!

Stallone brilliantly improves on the original Rocky IV by making his directors cut more fast paced and serious toned. He gets rid of ridiculous stuff like the robot and most of the scenes of Rocky’s son, and goes straight to the point of Rocky fighting Drago. Although,…
