In 1989 a man named Rowdy directed the movie Road House, finally fulfilling his destiny.

Extremely boring but I liked when the guy shot at the falling polar bear statue instead of just, y'know, moving out of its way
James (Schaffrillas)Feb 1, 2021A movie that only asks you to believe in the power of blue jeans, rock and roll and Patrick Swayze’s magnificent hair.

Should be a guilty pleasure yet I have no guilt in loving this film. It also has hilariously bad lines like "I used to fuck guys like you in prison" Classic!! The Jeff Healey Band is great also. The perfect midnight movie.
GroovemanJun 29, 2022Some people have a God. I have a Road House.
The Sonic TempleMar 12, 2024You have to wait 169 seconds before the first bar fight breaks out. Almost three full minutes without any punching? What the hell were they waiting for?!? This movie has about as much in common with reality as the Care Bears. And I love it for that.

Besides a shirtless Patrick Swayze, this movie wasn't that interesting for me

A legendary classic of 80s action and machismo. Patrick Swayze was at the top of his game in what would have been a B-movie waste of time, but Swayze makes it fun. 👍🏻👍🏻
I love this movie. With Swayze it’s a too tier B movie, without it would be God knows what. Not to say it’s bad but the movie rest on the machismo factor of Dalton which Patrick sells. The second half is the better part and I love the archetypes. The love interest is DULL though.

Kept getting told how much of a classic this film was so I just decided to sit down and watch it and I gotta say, I’m actually very impressed with how it turned out. It’s pretty simple, bad guy causes chaos and good guy comes to save the day. One of Swayze’s better movies. 10/10
2/10 I know this is a classic & I wanted to love it, but I didn’t! I hated it 💀 it was so terrible that it was comical. I love Patrick Swazye though so that made it better. I wanted to watch this one before the road house that came out recently. Hoping that one will be better
This movie was recently remade, watched this on prime. Not much just a hero flick, not much background is provided for the hero. He is a fixer specialising is running night clubs to profits and also deal with troublemakers at the same time. Its a time pass, not a must watch…
