my dad saw that i recorded this on the dvr & assumed i wanted to watch it as a family for christmas tonight ... i had to turn him down because every voice actor in this animated children's film is insanely hot and i didn't wanna think impure thoughts about cartoons in front…
mia lee vicinoDec 20, 2017let’s be real jack frost is probably one of the most attractive animated characters in a long time, second only to flynn “here comes the smoulder” rider (cinematic masterpiece Tangled, 2010), and maybe even pegleg hiccup from that dragon movie

sam lovedRise of the GuardiansI. LOVE. THIS. MOVIE. younger me was in the ROTBTFD fandom and shipped jack frost and elsa to no end. this movie holds up to this day as one of my favorites! the characters bounce off each other so we’ll, and it’s such a feel good movie, and yet has such gut in some places. 10/10

The voice work sounds more quick-paycheck than impassioned, and the animation rarely rises above video-game cut-scene quality. As revisionist holiday fables go, you're better off watching Aardman's delightful Arthur Christmas than this lump of coal.

Innocence and joy are threatened by the Boogeyman, and from there the plot comes pretty close to mirroring this summer's The Avengers movie. Mostly in a good way.

Works so hard at celebrating wide eyes and naïve joy that it comes close to spoiling its own intermittent wonderfulness.
