Synopsis
Vincent is an ex-criminal who more than anything, just wants a normal, peaceful life. He and his wife Sandy have built a loving family with their son DJ and are spending the winter break in a cabin before he goes off to college. Chaos ensues when Vincent’s disowned son Rocco, his girlfriend Marina and Vincent’s ex-wife Ruth abruptly show up to spoil the festivities with an ominous warning: the famed gangsters Leftie and Lonnie are coming for them.

This movie is definitely slow and takes some time to get going but it has some funny moments and the ending is interesting. Has a LOT of language.

They should have started from the end, that whole scene was so funny. Didn't need the hour long, painstakingly slow buildup though. I got the message surrounding family, but…

Chaos likedRiff RaffSlow start and kinda a weak plot, characters were the most enjoyable part and it had its funny moments. I feel that some moments that were unnecessary and they definitely could have used that time to add more to the story rather than just add randomness for the comedic value.

Went in with no expectations, good thing because apparently if I had some it would be a ‘meh’. It’s a bit slow but ok overall. I probably won’t watch it again but I’m not asking for time to be reversed.
Kelsey Caruso lovedRiff RaffWas this movie good? No the whole plot was awful. Did I enjoy it? 100%. Great cast, they’re what really made the movie. Good laugh, too. Highly recommend for the lovers of crime gore comedies.

Featuring sidesplitting performances from its stacked cast and some gnarly, shocking twists, Dito Montiel's Riff Raff is as fun as it is jaw-dropping, and will keep you entranced (and at times mildly disturbed), for its entire wacky runtime.

Had all those assets been funneled into a movie with some tonal consistency and a script that built credible relationships, the result might have been a nasty bit of fun. Instead, it wobbles awkwardly between creeping mob menace and scrappy sitcom, inching toward a violent climax that still doesn’t acquire cohesion.
