    In the 90s, they used to make big studio comedies with incredible stop motion and creature effects and critics would give em like 1 star

    It’s not entirely bad, but I wouldn’t classify this movie as good. It’s absurd to say the least and the level of absurdity is something I just can’t fully comprehend. I know some people who really enjoy this movie and unfortunately I’m not one of them. And I like nonsense humour.

    Coneheads is a classic in its own right, it's stupid and silly and not exactly enough material for a movie but humor is subjective, and this one has just enough to keep me entertained.

This is a dismal, dreary and fairly desperate movie, in which the actors try very hard but are unable to overcome an uninspired screenplay.

Steve Barron, who directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Electric Dreams and a mess of music videos, understandably can't seem to whip up any enthusiasm for the project. Nor is he able to inspire this large, listless cast of zombies.
