Grew up with this, but never had the opportunity to see it big screen. It was AMAZING!!!
Too bad the buck o’ five part didn’t make the cut but it was a dream come true to see this in the theaters all these years later with bmx friends. Too RAD!!
Still the best BMX movie ever made!!! When I was in middle school my first job was a paper route because of Cru!!! Loved being able to see it on in a theater!
I grew up watching the VHS until the film burned out. My sister had given me the DVD about 15 years ago and I still have it. This past bday, she got me the tshirt. So to see one of my favorites on the big screen made my day and year ❤
One of my favorite movies of all time. Got a group of buddies to go and we had a great time. Trip down memory lane and hard to believe that we actually got to see this in a theater! Please do it again for the 40th!
Grew up watching this. Was great getting a group of 40 year old men out to the movies.
One of my faves! I was surprised to see how many other people were at the theater!
Great movie but bad presentation so I took away one star. Showtime was 7:15. I get there at 7:09 and the film had already been running 9 minutes. Incidentally, the theater was running both a 7pm and 7:15pm showtime. But I guess they started them in unison. The theater finally figured it out and rewound it to the beginning, but forgot to turn on the sound for several minutes. So we only heard 10 percent of the awesome song "Break The Ice".
Nice to see again on the Big Screen. 35 years and well worth it.
Movie was awesome. Brought back good memories. Too bad the theater forgot to on the movie screen until it was 20 minutes uses into the flick. Bad guys.....shame.
Reliving the 80's om the big screen with friends! Did Bart wait for Cru to make up for the crash with the twins?
This movie is the 80’s, Crew Jones the local hero, wins Helltrack, and becomes a star over night.
Amazing!!!!!
So great seeing it in the theater again!
Can't wait to see it again!
Metacritic
It lives on its action and dies on its gab. It also would have been better without all those songs about catching the thunder and grabbing the lightning and going for the glory. They sound like a rejected ad campaign for Old Milwaukee. In movies like this, action is often enough--but here, it's just not radical.
The bicycle acrobatics behind the credits at the opening of Rad are so spectacular that you wonder what the movie can do to improve on them. The short answer is, nothing. It's a.ll uphill once the tale gets under way
