Moviegoers are saying
This slasher horror film has become a polarizing cult phenomenon, with audiences either embracing its campy B-movie charm or rejecting its deliberately ridiculous voice-changed killer and chaotic execution. While most critics slam its incoherent plot and comically bad antagonist voice, a passionate minority celebrates it as entertaining trash that delivers unintentional laughs and satisfying kill scenes.

It's rare that a film is this devoid of characterization, rarer still that a serial killer horror is this lacking in tension.

Sadly, Psycho Killer wasn’t made with style in mind. Actually, it doesn’t seem to have anything on its mind.

There are fractured elements that, with a little polish, could’ve been something much more, but this is just a generic, unremarkable horror film.
