it is absolutely imperative that this rehabilitated patient be immediately sent right back to the place where his trauma came from
adamboltJun 7, 2019Honestly, of all the “classic” movies, I think this might be the most unexpectedly awesome sequel that none of us knew we needed and half of folks forget/refuse to remember exists because “sacred cow” syndrome. Anyways, Psycho II rules—Easily one of my favorite sequels and…
Ian WestJun 3, 2020"I'm becoming confused again, aren't I?" I'd always heard that this was a surprisingly good sequel but not how downright devastating it is; Holland writes it with deep empathy for Norman's battle with both his own psyche and members of the community that would maybe…

I sometimes wonder what reaction the person who first said "Let's make Psycho II" got. Probably shocked looks and a slap in the face. But someone find that person and shake their freakin' hand. Psycho II is a great example of what a true sequel should be, take the story…

i feel you norman. i too have a tenuous grasp on sanity, am incredibly awkward, hate living alone in my house, and don't want to go back to the hospital. anthony perkins is so perfect in this, hitting exactly the right note of ambiguously creepy & really…

It was weird seeing Norman over 2 decades later in color with some other major differences. This movie is slept on but def had some flaws. It just feels somewhat low quality. The whole my mother thing also got kinda old but the twist was crazy. Solid plot and acting. 7/10

The plot moment to moment was unexpected which kept me on my toes throughout the whole thing. I was very invested in Norman’s story especially as he continues to spiral out of control. The music is extremely effective for its scares which at times made me more scared than the…

Truly an underrated sequel with great twists that you don't see often when they're made 20+ years after the original. Meg Tilly isn't the greatest actress, but she's really good here, and it would've been cool to see more of her in stuff or have a bigger name like her sister.
